Tyrese is to portray the brilliant musician Teddy Pendegrass in a powerful biopic.
I am honored to take this journey… this is the role that I feel I was born to play. Teddy Pendergrass embraced me and before he passed put the responsibility on my shoulders to tell his story. Being here in this time and in this space and moment with Lee Daniels, Donald De Line, Little Marvin and Warner Bros is an answered prayer. Teddy, I just hope we make you, your wife and family proud… Here we go.
Tyrese will play the musician with help from Warner Bros who are working with Donald De Line, Little Marvin Lee Daniels and T to write and produce it.
A due date is yet to be set as Tyrese is hard at work on a number of other projects.

I wonder if they’re gonna address his attraction to transsexuals in the movie, the car accident that left him paralyzed is a major part of his story. I can’t see them doing this movie without addressing it.
Since they’re worrying about pleasing the family that probably means that they will ignore it instead of addressing it.
Well tbh he didn’t know she was trans. She even said so herself, they literally just met hours before the accident at a straight club.
