LaLa Anthony is to star in the ‘90210′ remake.

Fox is to revive and extend the ‘90210‘ story with a limited series named ‘BH90210’ and has called on LaLa to portray an important character with deep involvement in its brand new plot.
Quite interestingly, she is one of the only non-90210 originals to be called to join the show and perform alongside originals Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Ian Ziering and Gabrielle Carteris.
Anthony will be playing hip hop artist Shay, who is a superstar and the person in the relationship who brings home the bacon.
Anthony’s TV run has seen her star in the likes of ‘Charm School’, ‘Two Can Play That Game’, ‘Soul Plane’, ‘One on One’ and ‘Power.’

I love black actresses, but im not here for 90210 becoming a diversity QUOTA project. I want the series to reflect the same themes, ideas and aesthetic of the original. This is NOT a good fit for LaLa, at all. She’s a god awful actress in the first place. This is really FORCED!!
