Lil Kim is inviting viewers all aboard her ‘Girls Cruise.’
Set to premiere on July 15th, the VH1 series will see the rap pioneer team up with her friends (‘Lady Marmalade’ collaborator Mya, TLC’s Chilli, Pretty Vee, B. Simone, Tiffany, and Char) for a “glamorous vacation of a lifetime” that’ll provide “sisterhood and self-exploration.”

“As they travel through the Caribbean, the crew hits the high seas on an epic journey filled with hilarious adventures, emotional breakthroughs, and spicy romances as they cultivate bonds and unapologetically live their best lives.”
The show, which Kim is also exec producing, will arrive ahead of her fifth studio album ‘9’ – which is slated for release later this year.

even though Lil Kim has fallen off of my radar, I AM STILL ROUTING for her! she is a pioneer for s*** rapstress’ across the globe. prior to Kim’s domination, female rap stars were dressed in masculine attire and exuded a rather machismo bravado. SHE made it less than taboo to flaunt femininity and sexuality. if it were not for KIM, NONE of the female rappers of contemporary times would exist in her aesthetic. she pioneered the lyrical content that made women scream in unison and fellas sit up below the waist. KIM IS A LEGEND. smart move to reintroduce herself to that HOUSEWIFE/LOVE & HIP HOP audience prior to releasing a new project. KUDOS!!
