Just weeks after taking to ‘GQ’ magazine to address rumors about his sexuality (click here to read more), football star Odell Beckham Jr. is setting the record straight again for those who didn’t get the memo.
Taking to Instagram just hours ago to post a “thirst trap” in celebration of his Calvin Klein campaign, the 26-year-old uploaded a scantily clad pic to set tongues wagging. Instead, the snap got keyboards clacking with several of the commenters slamming his wardrobe selection (or lack thereof) and – again – raising questions about his sexual orientation.
Annoyed by the commentary, OBJ responded to one poster with hopes of shutting down the conversation once and for all. See what he said inside:

Masculinity and femininity is relative to culture with American, urban black culture having some of the most problematic and warped stereotypes of what masculine is. You have cultures all around the world and throughout history where heads of the households and villages wore skirts, long hair, tight clothing, shorter shorts, soft in nature and were considered the leaders, masculine and straight. Just look at Japanese, Samoan, Irish, African and many other cultures and you will see a plethora of masculine examples.
And that’s the problem – all those people you mentioned don’t sit outside the box of perceived masculinity – as soon as someone is different they ‘must-be-gay’ ? That being said, I appreciate everybody for who they are, the sexual orientation is and should be meaningless as long as everybody is respecting one another.
The picture doesn’t help deter the topic, but I don’t understand why so many people’s first thought and biggest fascination with other people is their sexuality. You should be able to respect and appreciate someone without being consumed with the thought of who that person is sleeping with. You’re clearly not comfortable with your own sexuality when you’re worried about what everybody else is doing.
