Full story below…
According to Deadline, the revamped version of ‘Revenge’:
“…tells the story of a young Latinx immigrant. Guided by one of the original series’ favorite characters, she arrives in Malibu to exact revenge on a Sackler-esque pharmaceutical dynasty, whose insatiable greed lead to the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family, and a global epidemic.”
Fans of the original will note parallels between this and the narrative of Emily Thorne, Victoria Grayson, Nolan Ross, and co – which aired weekly from 2011 to 2015.
Such similarities will doubt leave many keen to see how the much-loved characters will be adapted for the refreshed version.
Per the report, the re-imagined effort is being spearheaded by the original series’ creator/executive producer Mike Kelley, writer-producer Joe Fazzio, Temple Hill and ABC Studios.
