Jussie Smollett Will Not Return To ‘Empire’

Published: Friday 10th Jan 2020 by David

It’s official.

Jussie Smollett will never return to ‘Empire.’

Fans of the hit show hoped Smollett would return for its finale but have now learned that their hopes and dreams have been shattered by producers.

Fox entertainment president Michael Thorn shared…

There were many points of view about if he should come back or if he shouldn’t. As hard as a decision as that was, for us–when I say us I mean the network, the studio and the producers–it felt like it was in the best interests of the show and the cast. Our hope is that all of the controversy surrounding Jussie doesn’t overshadow the show, which we think is bigger than him.

Smollett is accused of hiring two Nigerian bodybuilders of beating him up so that he could use the ‘assault” to generate publicity for himself.

He denies the allegation and says it isn’t true.

The bodybuilders say otherwise.

Meanwhile Micheal Phelps who lied about being robbed and other wypipo who have did some ish in the past to get some front page coverage got to walk free and even make more money afterwards. Yes the man probably lied, but what is justice if it is only served against POC and not our Caucasian counterparts.

I am glad the network stuck to its position. His failed attempt to garner more salary by starting this lame and crazy stunt is grounds for dismissal, at the very least.

The fact that you think it’s better for focus on ruining someone’s beautiful future because ur trolling idiot…. Jussie Smollett has a future compared to you he’s a great musician and actor…. His lifestyle is better compared to you…. So it’s either you do something with yourself or shut the hell up

The network thinks that their situation is bigger than what he did? What if his plan had succeeded? Has anyone stopped to think of the consequences his actions would have brought about? I swear,if you are part of Hollywood ,you can get away with just about anything these days.

The fact of the matter is that Smollett initially received threatening homophobic hate mail, which he brought to their attention – and when I said their I mean the network, the studio, and the show’s producers – and their attitude was dismissive in a wait-and-see kind of way. Naturally, the poor guy was feeling a heightened sense of fear about the hate mail, but then to have his work “family” abandon him at hood most vulnerable must’ve left him unable to think straight. In that condition, he might have made some poor choices, but he paid his debt and then some. Bring Jussie back!
