The Oscar winning actress has teamed up with Showtime to create a unique comedy special designed to celebrate her time in the entertainment business following her fallout with Netflix.
‘Mo’Nique & Friends: Live from Atlanta’ will soar into Showtime and see her address the highs and lows of her career head on.

What did Showtime pay her? Because if it’s anything close to that Netflix deal I cannot support her efforts to sue. If she doesn’t bring the funny then she will have no case for the need to be compensated. And lastly, there better be a full audience to show people actually have an interest in seeing her.
I would like to know because I doubt she got to see a million dollars. after all the crying and boycotting she did over netflix giving relevant comedians more money. Yes she got her show but netflix was going to give her the show as well they just offered her 500k and she wanted to cry about it. she went on so many media outlets to give interviews to bring down netflix but that didn’t help her.
Watch they say “undisclosed” and sealed meaning she’s going to say there was a gag order placed where she isn’t able to talk about it. You know the Obama nation runs Netflix so they control it for real. They are friends with some of these people that blackballed her. I’m sure showtime told her take a 200k check or some low offer because no one is going to look her way right now and it looks like good press after so much negative press.
So strange that you 2 think you know about contracts and what she was paid and how things work…clearly you 2 aren’t execs lawyers or anything of the such but yet know so much
Looking forward to this. I’m ready for her to stop pointing the finger at others and get back to entertaining her fans. She is capable of creating her own lane, it seemed as though she was dimming her own light and blaming others when no one is really responsible for her career but herself. Glad she is making moves, hope she continues to shine because she has too much talent to waste.

Secondly, I am curious to know what she got paid though ?. For her to get a million out of showtime? ? It may not be too farfetched tbh… She’s been a hot topic since this debate came about. I think A LOT of people will check it out just OFF curiosity to see if she still has IT and was the all HYPE back then worth it.
If Mo had pitched this CONCEPT to Netflix, she probably would have scored a much higher offer. But kudos to her for getting this. I am a huge fan of her work, though I don’t like her business antics.
