‘Insecure’ star Yvonne Orji is securing the bag!

Because, ahead of the show’s fourth season, it’s been announced that she’s landed a stand-up comedy special on HBO.

According to Deadline, the hour-long production will feature footage shot in Orji’s home country of Nigeria last month and an upcoming live-audience taping at Howard University in Washington.

Beyond standing in the spotlight for the special, Orji also serves as its writer and executive producer. Elsewhere Chris Robinson is on-board director, while Michelle Caputo and Shannon Hartman also in the mix as exec producers.

This adds to the rapidly growing and diverse portfolio of the 36-year-old talent, whose other credits include ‘Night School’ and popular podcast ‘Jesus & Jollof.’

A summer premiere for the special has been set.

Before then, fans can catch Orji in the role of Molly alongside Issa Rae in the fourth season of ‘Insecure’ – which returns to HBO on April 12th.
