Jamie Foxx is speaking up and out in defense of Jimmy Fallon following the blackface storm the comic found himself embroiled in this week.
As reported, ‘The Tonight Show’ host came under fire for a 2000 Saturday Night Live skit – in which he donned blackface when portraying Chris Rock.
He has since apologized.
In the wake of the drama, Foxx has weighed-in and is lending his support.
His words below…
Commenting on an E News post about Fallon’s apology, the actor said:
“He was doing an impression of chris rock. It wasn’t black face. We comedians I know it’s a tough time right now. But this one is a stretch. On a show called in living color we played every race Let this one go. We got bigger fish to fry … #changecourse”
