‘On The Record’: Social Media Responds To Russell Simmons #MeToo Documentary

A documentary created to lift the lid on Russell Simmons‘ alleged abuse of women and girls is dominating discussion on social media.

Twitter’s response to ‘On the Record’ below….

Simmons is accused of carrying out a number of violent attacks on a number of women and girls and has been accused of fleeing to Asia to escape the media scrutiny the accusations has placed him under.

Today, his alleged victims have received a wave of praise from viewers who now believe that he committed the crimes he is accused of committing after watching the doc.

Simmons denies all of the allegations and had this to say in a recent interview with ‘The Breakfast Club’

I can never say that someone doesn’t feel victimized. I can tell you that I don’t feel that I victimized them, Back then, I thought it was a game…. There were no Black actresses that I didn’t date and they’re my friends today,” Simmons explained. “They don’t have the experience of me being a monster the movie makes me out to be.
