Tamar Braxton‘s rise to Pop cultural prominence came by way of WE tv’s ‘Braxton Family Values.’
Indeed, for eight seasons the outspoken star has shone on the reality series – which also birthed spin-off shows ‘Tamar & Vince’ and most recently the incoming ‘Get Ya Life!’
With news of Braxton’s alleged suicide attempt sending shockwaves through the media sphere, the cable network has released a statement:
“Tamar Braxton has been part of the WE tv family for nearly a decade. We are keeping her and her family in our thoughts and prayers and joining with her fans sending strength and healing at this difficult time.”
WE tv’s statement is notable because the initial report from The Blast cited an alleged contractual dispute between Braxton and the network. A source claimed that the singer didn’t know the trailer for ‘Get Ya Life!’ was dropping yesterday (July 16) and is alleged to have disliked how she was portrayed.
Our thoughts and prayers remain with Braxton and her family at this difficult time.
