Tyra Banks just added to her TV portfolio in a major way.
For, the supermodel turned super-mogul has just been announced as the new host of ‘Dancing With The Stars.’

ABC formally revealed Banks as host of the show, which revealed that it’s saying goodbye to longtime hosts Tom Bergeron and Erin Andrews
He shared that he was told the show was moving in a different direction.
As has become apparent, that meant in the direction of Banks – who notably also bags an Executive Producer credit on the popular show.
Word is that her hiring had been in the works for some time and it wasn’t a knee-jerk reaction to parting ways with Bergeron and Andrews.
Beyond her industry shaking strides as a model, Banks has amassed ample TV gravitas – after co-creating and hosting ‘America’s Top Model’ and anchoring ‘America’s Got Talent.’
‘Dancing’ sashays back onto screens later this year.
It doesn’t matter who hosts or executive produces it…we don’t want to watch that corny mess.
Tom B needs to be host. this is going on to a direction I dont like.
I normally watch for just one or two contestants and ff through the rest. The judging is heavily biased and the voting audience rarely gets it right.
Why don’t these already rich celebs pass to live life and gift someone more necessitus the opportunity?!? Watch how she’ll try to make it all about her (again).
If Tyra Banks is hosting again I will not be watching, she is terrible. I have watched Dancing with the stars since it first came on and I really like the show but I can not stand Tyra Banks, she is not a good host, it is not called the Tyra Banks show so when she is gone I will watch again and by the looks of a lot of comments there are a lot of people that feel the same way I do, when the ratings fall maybe things will change
