Over 244,000 tuned in to Nickelodeon Monday night (June 29) to catch Alicia Keys host and moderate the ‘Nick News’ special, ‘Kids, Race and Unity.’

As we reported here, the virtual event – which aimed to “amplify the voices and experiences of Black kids across the country amid current events” – focused primarily on the impact of the work being done by young activists throughout the U.S.

Featuring a Q&A period with the founders and leaders of the Black Lives Matter movement, ‘Kids, Race and Unity’ was also highlighted by appearances from Naomi Campbell, Simone Biles, Chance the Rapper, and more who collectively added insight to the much-needed conversation.
