With the world reeling over the death of Chadwick Boseman, so too is Barack Obama.

The former US President has issued an impassioned statement paying tribute to the ‘Black Panther’ actor, who lost a four-year battle with colon cancer.

His words below…

“Chadwick came to the White House to work with kids when he was playing Jackie Robinson. You could tell right away that he was blessed. To be young, gifted, and Black; to use that power to give them heroes to look up to; to do it all while in pain – what a use of his years.”

Your thoughts?

It’s president Barack Obama. In the US we always call former presidents that title

“while in pain” if that doesn’t touch you…So true. Now this is a true symbol of a MAN NOT JUST a black man.
He didn’t parade it or complain. I’m just blown away.

I hope there is a heaven.

I am just now learning about all of his philanthropy. It just makes his death even harder.
