With the world mourning Chadwick Boseman, so too are his ‘Black Panther’ co-stars – including Lupita Nyong’o.
Days after being spotted at the private Malibu memorial in honor of the actor – who died on August 28 after a secret four-year battle with colon cancer – the Oscar winner has publicly paid tribute to him.
Her words below…
Taking to Instagram, Nyong’o laid bare her hurt and sorrow at the loss of Boseman, who was just 43 at the time of his death.
She also seized the moment to share the lessons she’s learnt from the actor’s life:
Our thoughts and prayers remain with Boseman’s loved ones.
Long may his legacy live on.
Beautifully spoken.
So touching 😭😭😭😭 my eyes are watering
This letter is the most beautiful thing I’ve laid eyes on this year! Quite possibly, the most loving thing I’ve ever read. Lupita, Queen, I salute you. Love you.
WOW. That is not a pretty chick!
