Chadwick Boseman‘s brother, Derrick Boseman, is opening up about his final conversation with the heroic actor before his tragic passing in August.

Speaking with his ‘Black Panther’ sibling one day before his death, Derrick detailed their saddening last words with one another.
He shared with the New York Times:
“Man, I’m in the fourth quarter, and I need you to get me out of the game,” Chadwick said.
“When he told me that, I changed my prayer from, ‘God heal him, God save him,’ to ‘God, let your will be done, snd the next day he passed away.”
Chadwick, diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in 2016, kept his illness private yet continued to act throughout his final years – including when the disease progressed to stage 4 in late 2019.
Once fans learnt of Boseman’s passing, an outpour of thousands of loving messages were sent out to the star’s family.
Derrick concluded:
“Chad was gifted. He’s probably the most gifted person I’ve ever met.”
