‘Jeopardy’ Host Alex Trebek Dead At 80 After Pancreatic Cancer Battle

In news just in, it’s been confirmed that Alex Trebek – host of hit show ‘Jeopardy’ – has died aged 80.

He succumbed to complications related to pancreatic cancer.

A statement issued by the show read:

“Jeopardy is saddened to share that Alex Trebek passed away peacefully at home early this morning, surrounded by family and friends.”

The much-loved TV figure had been battling stage 4 pancreatic cancer since revealing the news back in March last year.

Despite the diagnosis, Trebek had no intent to retire and valiantly continued hosting ‘Jeopardy.’

Our thoughts are with his family.

    I watch Jeopardy every day and i’m truly heartbroken.
    We’ve loss some of the greatest souls to ever walk the earth this year and the Icon Alex Trebek is definitely one of them.

    I was totally shocked to have read this! He seemed like a really cool guy with so much more life in him. He did say he wasn’t going to fight it anymore and wasn’t going to take chemo. He let go and G0d took him away. He will truly be missed.
