‘B.A.P.S’ and ‘Eve’ Star Natalie Desselle-Reid Dead at 53

In what comes as sad news, it has been reported that ‘Eve‘ and ‘B.A.P.S‘ actress, Natalie Desselle-Reid, has died.

Desselle-Reid passed away Monday morning after a battle with colon-cancer, which she fought outside of the public eye.

The comedic actor was best known for her role 1997’s Halle Berry led ‘B.A.P.S’, in which she delivered comedy gold in her role as Mickey. The star also featured as Janie Egins in sitcom ‘Eve’ and Tyler Perry’s ‘Madea’s Big Happy Family’ as Tammy, among other roles.

An official statement from her family reads:

“It is with extremely heavy hearts that we share the loss of our beautiful Natalie this morning. She was a bright light in this world. A queen. An extraordinary mother and wife.”

She leaves behind her three children with her husband, Leonard Reid.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to Natalie’s family and loved ones. Rest in peace.

    She was a joy to watch on screen. Praying for a spirit of peace and comfort over her friends, family, and especially her children this season and into the new year. Cancer is no joke 😢❤️
