Gabourey Sidibe is not holding back.
The actress has clapped back at rapper Twista after he posted a fatphobic meme to his Instagram account.

On December 9, the rapper posted the now-deleted Instagram, which compared Sidibe to model Bernice Burgos.
The first picture, which depicts the ‘American Horror Story’ actress is supposed to represent a successful but not conventionally attractive woman (choice A) while the second choice, (Choice B), is supposed to represent he type of woman projected as beautiful but isn’t grounded financially, or Burgos.
Twista captioned the meme:
“Who y’all choosing A or B?”
This caused Sidibe, who has previously been subjected to public humiliation, to respond:
“Wow. I um…. gee. @twistagmg I only like you as a rapper I forgot about in 2005. But good luck with option B!”

Many fans also came to the defense of Sidibe and called out the ‘Overnight Celebrity’ rapper.

Twista has since apologized for the meme in a post on his Instagram account, saying:
“Everyone is beautiful in my eyes! And I also believe that beauty starts from within!”

I read it in another perspective on another site. It read Gabby as Choice A, a successful woman, and Choice B, Bernice (whoever she is), a couch surfer, with 3 kids, no car and 12k followers on social media. The question is then asked who would you go with Choice A or Choice B.
If I believe the other site, which I find a bit more credible, I would have NOT responded if I were Gabby. It appeared that the post was shading Choice B, NOT GABBY, versus, criticizing Gabby. Perhaps Gabby was appalled by the criticizing of another Black woman?
