Moments ago, the show’s returning leads – Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon – confirmed the news on social media.
The ladies are back in the mix as Carrie, Charlotte and Miranda respectively.

Kim Catrall, who famously played siren Samantha, will not be back for the revival. Which is little surprise given how vocal she’s been about wanting to put the show behind her.
And while she won’t feature, Michael Patrick King, the show’s original executive producer, is on-board in the same role.
A commercial and cultural phenomenon, ‘Sex and the City’ ran for six seasons on HBO and birthed two big screen movies.
So, it goes without saying that all eyes will be on the new incarnation.
