The influence of ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ continues to shante its way across the media sphere.
The drag competition format is now getting its own singing competition spin-off as part of Paramount+‘s slate of reality television series.

The new show, ‘Queen of the Universe,’ will be produced by World of Wonder, the company behind ‘Drag Race,’ and promises to be a singing competition unlike any other before it. In it, drag queens from all across the globe will compete to see who really is rules the drag universe.
Chris McCarthy, president of MTV Entertainment Group, announced the new show during the ViacomCBS investor day presentation.
In addition to ‘Queen of the Universe,’ ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars’ is set to return, pitting the best in the world of drag against one another for a chance to win $100,000 and a spot in the Drag Race Hall of Fame.
