Barely a month after Meghan Trainor birthed her first child (as we reported here), newly surfaced reports suggest the 27-year-old is set to birth the next chapter of her career thanks to a HUGE deal with NBCUniversal Television and Streaming Entertainment.

Trainor’s no stranger to penning award-winning music over her short, but storied career, but now the Pop diva’s extended that pen to television thanks to an exclusive deal with NBCUniversal.

Though its reported she’ll have the potential to contribute to a number of shows across the entire NBCUniversal portfolio, including programming on NBC, SYFY, Universal Kids, Bravo, E!, Oxygen, USA, Peacock, and more, what’s for sure is the GRAMMY winner will be developing unscripted and scripted projects – including a new sitcom on which she is set to write and star.

Execs at NBC are ecstatic to have Meghan’s megawatt talent on board.

Trainor shares Rovner’s enthusiasm.

As of time reported, there are no tentative release dates for Meghan’s forthcoming NBC projects.
