Nearly a year-and-a-half after first announcing its breakout, Issa Rae-produced comedy ‘Black Lady Sketch Show’ had earned a season 2 renewal (as we reported here), HBO has unveiled the Robin Thede-created and led series is ready to launch its next load of laughs.

Not only boasting the return of regulars like Thede, Gabrielle Dennis, and Ashley Nicole Black, but the Emmy-nominated variety show is also set to see the arrival of two new players – Laci Mosley and Skye Townsend.

After season 1 dropped jaws and busted sides with hilarious cameos from the likes of Angela Bassett, Patti Labelle, Kelly Rowland, Laverne Cox, and many more, season 2 – as revealed by the new trailer – follows in the same vein with appearances from the likes of Gabrielle Union, Jesse Williams, Miguel, Skai Jackson, Laz Alonso, Omarion, Kim Wayans, Ayesha Curry, Lance Gross, and many more.
Look inside to see the hilarity that awaits:

‘A Black Lady Sketch Show’ season 2 premieres April 23 at 11 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and HBO Max.
