The trailer for ‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ was unwrapped this weekend and was hailed as a slam dunk.
Led by LeBron James, the new incarnation of the classic basketball flick also reunites the Looney Tunes.
And while some were heard from during the sneak peek, Lola Bunny was notable in her silence.
Well, when the time comes for the masses to hear her voice, it’ll be powered by a voice many are familiar with.
For, none other than Zendaya has nabbed the role.

It serves as another major career coup for Zendaya, who has amassed a successful and diverse body of work. Recent projects include ‘Euphoria’ (for which she won an Emmy), ‘Spiderman,’ and ‘Malcolm & Marie.’
‘Space Jam: A New Legacy’ arrives in theaters on July 16. As has been custom during the current climate, the film will premiere on HBO Max streaming service simultaneously.
