‘A Black Lady Sketch Show’ Renewed for Season 3 at HBO

Barely a month after bouncing back to screens for its highly anticipated sophomore season, HBO execs have sketched time for a season 3 of ‘Black Lady Sketch Show.’

Details inside:

With help from a slew of celebrity guests over its first two seasons including Kelly Rowland, Angela Bassett, Patti Labelle, Lance Gross, Omarion, Laverne Cox, and many more, the Robin Thede-created ‘Black Lady Sketch Show’ has brought the laughs and the ratings to HBO in historic measure since its 2019 premiere.

That popularity is just the reason its network home is ready to see even more funny in the future as the EMMY-nominated series has officially been renewed for season 3.

Speaking on the news, Thede took to press to say:

“I’m honored to continue our incredible series and wonderful partnership with HBO, Issa Rae, JAX Media and our entire producing team.”

As of time reported, there is no tentative premiere date tied to the forthcoming season.
