Could a new installment of ‘Why Did I Get Married?’ be on the way?

The hit franchise, which follows a group of friends on their annual couples retreat, has proven a box office smash.
Indeed, the 2007 original grossed a whopping $56 million, while the 2010 sequel ‘Why Did I Get Married Too?’ generated $60 million.
And in each instance the films were especially profitable – grossing triple the production cost it took to make them.
Anchored by the likes of Janet Jackson, Jill Scott, Malik Yoba, Michael Jai White, Tasha Smith, as well as Perry himself, the narrative explores the many complex layers of relationships and sets out to answer the titular question.
Now, many believe a third film is on the way.
Moments ago, Perry took to Instagram and shared the graphic with the text ‘Why Did I Get Married Again?.’ The attached caption read: “I’ve got a question….. Should we revisit this?”

It’s hard to believe Perry – who just announced the revival of ‘Madea’ – would tease this if the wheels weren’t already in motion.
What’s more, with it being an ensemble cast, we’re buzzing at the prospect of the likes of Janet, Jill, and the rest of the collective regrouping.

I would love to see a 3rd why did I get married. I want to see Patricia with the Rock. Let her remarry snd have a baby. She definitely deserves it. Yeah a third one is what this world needs right now. Take our minds off the c**** and the drama its causing.
