The Warner Bros production chronicles Richard’s story as he draws on his vision, perseverance, and unconventional methodology to take his family from the streets of Compton, California to global superstardom.

Directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, the film sees Smith joined by Aunjanue Ellis who plays the girls’ mother, Oracene “Brandi” Williams, Saniyaa Sidney in the role of Venus Williams, and Demi Singleton as Serena Williams. Tony Goldwyn also appears as coach Paul Cohen.

    Based on the trailer it looks like Will Smith is getting better at portrayals (I hope so); also looks like it’s going to be a good film. Looking forward to seeing it.
