We’re all for the new-new.

As later additions such as ‘The Real Housewives of Potomac’ have proved, there is much to be gained for a brand by refreshing, remolding, and adding to what’s been established.

Hence, for that reason and more, we’re all sorts of buzzed about ‘The Real Housewives of Dubai.’

I find Andy’s enthusiasm to support a place where in 2021 being LQTBQIA+ is punishable by imprisonment, floggings, death, fines, deportation, chemical castration, forced psychological treatments, beatings, forced hormone injections, and torture, and where many “housewives” are marginalised and need the permission of their spouse before they can be allowed to work or drive, quite appalling. It’s a pass from me.

    • Shayla Queen™ 👑 November 1, 2021

They get a pass because they’re non-white, it seems. The same way no one mentions the brutal black s**** trade that still exists in the Middle East. Everyone is quick to worry about “blackfishing” when it comes to the white man/woman, but not about REAL torture inflicted on blacks in other countries. It just goes to show how privileged blacks are in the US as you can’t get a bigger First World problem than crying “blackfishing” over someone white being tan…

      • Nomeena November 1, 2021

I agree with you, up until the bit about black Americans being privileged. Based on what I’ve seen, there’s just as many white people triggered by other whites blackfishing as black people.

      • Shayla Queen™ 👑 November 1, 2021

Anyone who was going through real turmoil and weren’t privileged definitely would not have the time to cry over a made-up term such as “blackfishing.” It wouldn’t even be a thing.
