Ample excitement surrounds the release of Disney‘s new animated adventure, ‘Encanto.’ And with good reason.
The eagerly anticipated film tells the tale of a young Colombian girl named Mirabel (played by Stephanie Beatriz).
Unlike her loved ones, she is the only member of her family who doesn’t possess magical powers – a fact that frustrates her in earnest.
However, in a unique turn of events, Mirabel may be the only one able to help when their magic comes under threat.
Beyond performances from the cast, music is at the heart of ‘Encanto’ thanks to world-renowned star Lin-Manuel Miranda – who crafted the film’s resonating soundtrack.
Ahead of the movie’s theatrical release on November 24, That Grape Juice‘s Chet Kincaid sat down with Miranda, lead Beatriz, and Diane Guerrero – who all dished on the importance of ‘Encanto’ and the magic of its music.
