Viewership: 1.73 Million
Hallmark is no stranger to dominating the holiday season with its yuletide-flavored flicks, and this year – thanks to the rollout of its 41 #CountdowntoChristmas original movies – that trend shows no sign of slowing.
Evidence comes courtesy of ‘A Christmas Treasure,’ the network’s Sparks-led and executive produced festive film which drew 1.73 million viewers upon its premiere Sunday (November 7). In addition to being the night’s most-viewed cable TV movie, ‘Treasure’ landed in third place among all scripted cable programs of the day (behind the night’s two episodes of Paramount’s ‘Yellowstone’).
Also starring Michael Xavier, ‘Treasure’ completed a weekend of ratings onslaught for Hallmark.
On Saturday (November 6), the network raked in the two highest-rated scripted cable programs of the day – holiday films ‘Next Stop, Christmas’ (2.79 million viewers) and ‘Mrs. Miracle Christmas’ (1.53 million viewers).
