Fans of the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ have been salivating for the return of Phaedra Parks ever since her departure from the show after seven years in 2017.
Flickers of hope have manifested annually, but none as pronounced as the confirmation that Parks has officially on-boarded the forthcoming second season of spin-off show ‘The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip.’
Many hoped it would serve as a bridge for a full-fledged return to RHOA.
Well, Parks has spoken up and out and her words may disappoint those angling to see her holding a peach on the Bravo show anytime soon.

When quizzed on a possible RHOA comeback, Parks told Hollywood Life:
“People ask me. Every year I’m approached at some part of the year but it’s just not something I want to do. I did it for what, 8 years of my life? Both of my kids were born on live TV. It’s a lot. So for all of those eight years, for all of the things that I shared with the world, I think, I will go down in history as being one of the best for that franchise.”
She continued:
“I’ve evolved and so I love that the fans want me back, but my children are at an age — The Housewives is an awesome platform but it comes with its issues and so to be a great parent and to be a responsible parent, I think that that would not be a responsible decision.”
Parks was then asked whether her appearance on ‘Ultimate Girls Trip’ was because of the egregious way she left the franchise, she replied candidly saying:
“No. I did it because Andy[Cohen] obviously asked me.”

Whatever the case, we’d love to see Ms. Parks back on RHOA. And, as we’ve seen time and time again, “never say never” is a mantra that holds true.

I’m glad to see that she’s not willing to sacrifice her dignity or the privacy of her young kids just to satisfy a gossip hungry sensational public that’ll turn on her and her family at the first moment she deviates from their imaginary image of her. This is her real life. There’s no amount of money worth the frustration.
