‘The Matrix’ franchise returns for its fourth outing on December 22 when ‘The Matrix Ressurections’ charges into theaters worldwide.

Eagerly anticipated, the Warner Bros. production reunites Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Anne Moss (who play Neo and Trinity respectively) for an adventure that will once again have viewers questioning all they’ve ever discovered from the film series and the discoveries that lay ahead.

Prior to the movie’s premiere, That Grape Juice‘s Jacqueline Shepherd sat down with Jada Pinket Smith (who returns in the role of Niobe) and newcomer Priyanka Chopra Jonas.

The superstars opened up EXCLUSIVELY to TGJ about their involvement in ‘The Matrix Resurrections’ and the diversity it champions by way of director Lana Wachowski.

I can’t stop crying with joy! My mother’s favorite actress is Jada and my favorite franchise of all time is THE MATRIX! Seeing her as Niobe and playing her in ENTER THE MATRIX back in 2003 has been full circle in my life. I can’t wait until next Wednesday to continue this journey! However I won’t watch this interview until after I see RESURRECTIONS. I don’t trust no one to not drop any spoilers. Love you Jada!

I’m tempted to watch it on HBO, but I saw all the others in the theater, so it’s only right that I do it again. I thought it was a prequel at first.
