Shakira is set to star in and host a brand new NBC dance series.

Moments ago, the stage blazer announced ‘Dancing With Myself,’ which will premiere in 2022.
Specific details are being kept under wraps; however, the show – which will take on a competition format – is touted as being inspired by the millions lapping up the latest dance crazes on social media platforms like TikTok.
Speaking on the series, Shakira (who is also its executive producer) issued a video statement:

The show’s co-producer, John Irwin (of Irwin Entertainment) added:
“Shakira is one of the most influential icons in the industry with an incredible presence and platform to inspire her devoted fanbase to incorporate dance into their lives. The series amplifies the familiar, much-loved format with a fresh twist as it’s the first ever to leap into today’s Internet dance craze. Dancing with Myself is sure to be a universal experience that moves viewers of all ages, everywhere.”
This serves as Shaki’s latest TV venture, following her stint as a coach on The Voice.
