Hot on the promotional trail for her memoir ‘The Pursuit of Porsha’ and new ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ spin-off show ‘Porsha’s Family Matters,’ the reality star sat down with Entertainment Tonight.
During her candid chat with host Nischelle Turner, Williams was quizzed about her decision to depart RHOA after nine years.
She was more specifically probed about whether her shock engagement to Simon Guobadia and the firestorm it ignited (due to his marriage to her co-star Falynn Guobadia) was the cause.

According to the RHOA fan-fave, her exit was not a result of the inevitable scrutiny she would have faced from her co-stars. Dismissing that suggestion, she told Turner “they come for me every season.”
Instead, she unpacked a narrative about having long planned to “semi-retire by 40” to spend time with her daughter Pilar Jhena.
Williams branded the timing coincidental.
Fans hoping to see her back on Housewives were given a glimmer of hope, as she notably referred to exit as a “break” and declared that the door wasn’t “bolted’ closed.
