After a roller-coaster run on the ‘Real Housewives of Potomac,’ Monique Samuels is heading back to reality TV.

According to TV Deets, Monique and her husband – former footballer Chris Samuels – will serve as central figures on OWN‘s newly commissioned series ‘Love & Marriage: DMV.’
The show is the second series to spring forth from the ‘Love & Marriage’ franchise – with ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville’ being the first.
At the executive helm is Carlos King, who will be producing the show via his Kingdom Reigns imprint.
Renowned for his work on the ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta,’ King has notably gone on to blaze a trail with titles such as ‘BET Presents The Encore,’ ‘Hollywood Divas,’ and ‘Love & Marriage: Huntsville.’
The Samuels will be joined on the cast by Erana and James Tyler, Tasha and Neil Lyons, and Ashley Brittney and Roberto Silva (aka DJ Quicksilva).
Filming on ‘Love & Marriage: DMV’ is said to begin in January, but Monique and Chris already hosted a night out with their castmates. Check out a snap from the festivities:
We’ve always felt that Monique brought a lot to ‘Potomac’ and her potential maximized at the time of her dramatic exit from that show.
Time will tell how her stint on this series will fare, but we’re both intrigued and optimistic.

Actually, Monique has an entitled attitude. I personally don’t care for her. Her husband seems blind to her antics. But sooner or later that game she plays with him will be short lived. He deserves so much more. Just my observation….

ALWAYS said that she needed her own show. She helped make Potomac what it is today. And Candiace deserved every pull and punch from Monique, it was clearly only a matter of time. Bravo caters to the racists and abusers, that’s Ramona and Candiace are still employed.

I’m so glad that Monique is back on reality TV, it was so unfair the way she was treated on Housewives of Potomac.
I don’t really watch Love and Marriage anything but for Mo’Nique I will. I always liked her and her hubbs (he is crazy about her). After she left Potomac my viewership left too. It will be good to see her (and him) on my TV again. They are the only ones I care for though

A Bravo reject heading to OWN as the centrepiece. She was always the furthest away from Andy and at the back back on the opening credits.

I missed Monique and Chris they were the show they were the bomb and they didn’t take no crap and they were honest and they were good and honest to the show.. Congratulations to Monique and OWN for giving her another opportunity to SHINE!! I truly miss her on Potomac but I don’t blame her for making the wise decision to exit! No one should stay anywhere one is not welcomed! It would’ve been a recipe for more chaos and Candiace would’ve continued to play the victim(Uggg…She gets on my NERVES!!) Monique made the right choice by leaving the show, healing, focusing on her family, and allowing the Universe to bring her next assignment to her! God ALWAYS work it out when one wait in Him! Lastly, Ladies the DRAMA MUST STOP! Candiace is a BULLY, who clearly writes checks her BIG MOUTH can’t cash!! However, it’s NEVER alright to lay hands on one because we don’t like what one say! USE ONE FEET AND EXIT!! One ALWAYS have the right to defend oneself! But stop giving up free entertainment! Others will be entertained on ones dime and time judging one in the end, all while one is sitting at home with a court case wondering if the situation or the person was really worth it? True Story…..

I loved Monique on RHOP . She showed class on the show. She was mistreated during the reunion by the questions asked by Andy who not once tried to defend her on anything. She will be better off by going to OWN. If the show is not successful, so what, cause she will continue to live well and take care of her family. I am glad she left behind those jealoys women on RHOP.

I Loved Monique and her husband, yes I stopped watching the real Housewives of Potomac when she left. They should have gotten rid of Candance always starting mess that she couldn’t back up, then playing the Victim. Good luck with your new show . I hope that Karen makes an appearance.
