Shortly after her passing, legendary actress Betty White‘s cause of death has been revealed.

TMZ has obtained her death certificate, which lists her cause of death as a stroke. According the new information, she suffered a stroke a week before her death.
The event is listed as a cerebrovascular accident and resulted in brain tissue damage after it cut off blood flow to parts of the brain.
Sources told the publication that White was alert and coherent after the stroke. She died peacefully in her sleep at home, with her alleged last words being her late husband’s name.
‘The Golden Girls’ and ‘Hot In Cleveland’ actress passed away on New Year’s Eve 2021, mere weeks before her 100th birthday.
