Anthony Mackie is making major moves both on the screen and off.
For, it’s been revealed that the ‘Captain America’ actor is building a major film and TV studio in his home state of New Orleans.

The 43-year-old star has purchased 20-acres of land in the Little Woods region of the southern city and has set in the wheels in motion to build the facility.
Word is that the studio is Mackie’s passion project and was birthed out his growing penchant for producing.
More broadly, the studio sets out to help the state of Louisiana establish a film and television industry rich in opportunities for production, motion picture development, marketing, and more.
The present New Orleans Mayor Latoya Cantrell gushed with excitement about the news on social media. She wrote:

Mackie’s move follows the likes of Tyler Perry’s establishment of Tyler Perry Studios in Atlanta.
