According to a new report, NBCUniversal has canceled the veteran show after three decades on the air. Hosted and produced by Maury Povich, the show will end after its current season.
Original episodes are set to air through September and the show will continue to air in syndication afterwards.
This is the second notable show canceled by NBCUniversal this spring. Previously, it canceled ‘Judge Jerry’ after only three seasons. Hosted by Jerry Springer, it was his first venture since the ending of his long-running ‘The Jerry Springer Show.’
Other daytime talk shows that recently got the axe are ‘The Nick Cannon Show’ and ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’
