Chris Rock, Taylor Swift Set To Star In David O. Russell’s ‘Amsterdam’

Chris Rock has landed his next gig and it appears as though he will be teaming up with musician Taylor Swift for it.

It has now been revealed that both Rock and Swift will be joining the cast of David O. Russell’s upcoming film, ‘Amsterdam.’ Those who attended CinemaCon got a first look at the film.

According to several reporters who attended the event, the ‘Blank Space’ singer’s character can be seen crying and mourning in front of her dead father alongside Christian Bale. According to Variety, as Swift cries Rock says: “You have a dead white man in a box. It’s not even a coffin, it has no lid. You know who’s going to get in trouble? The Black men.”

Swift, Rock, and Bale are not the only A-listers to be featured in the movie. John David Washington, Margot Robbie, Zoe Saldana, and Rami Malek will also appear.

‘Amsterdam’ is Swift’s first acting gig since appearing in the adaptation of ‘Cats.’ Previously, she appeared in the films ‘The Giver’ and ‘The Lorax.’
