The filmmaker was on hand at a festival in Staten Island and brought out the actress-comedienne to declare his love for her and express his remorse for his role in their fall-out over ‘Precious.’
As widely documented, the pair had been at loggerheads in the time since the Oscar-winning film’s release – with Mo’ bemoaning the request for her to promote the flick internationally and Daniels voicing his displeasure about her very public critiques.
As the saying goes, time heals the deepest of wounds. Because, as reported, the duo have mended fences and are set to work together on new Netflix movie ‘Demon House.’
Speaking to Mo directly, Daniels said:
“It took me a long time to realize. I am so sorry for hurting you in any way that I did. Y’all, she was my best friend. ‘Precious’ was God working through both of us and we gonna f*cking do it again!”
