Although Yolanda Adams has dominated the Gospel music scene with over 30 years of GRAMMY and Stellar Award-winning hits, the music icon – with notable appearances in film and television across that same time period (i.e. ‘The Parkers,’ ‘Ride Along 2,’ ‘The Passion,’ and more) – is also no stranger to flexing her acting skills.

In what comes as her biggest foray into the latter to date, Adams toplines the new BET+ series ‘Kingdom Business.’

Executive produced by DeVon Franklin, Kirk Franklin, & Holly Carter. the eight episode drama – which also stars written Serayah and Michael Jai White – sees Yolanda portray “Denita Jordan,” a superstar singer/megachurch first lady who is determined to guard her family and its dark secrets at all costs after an ex-stripper (Serayah) comes and shakes up their world.
