Moments ago, the credits ran on the farewell episode of the daytime talker, which first launched in 2013.
Originally anchored by Loni Love, Adrienne Houghton, Jeannie Mai, Tamera Mowry, and Tamar Braxton, the show aired a whopping 1,360 episodes.
At the time of its curtain call, ‘The Real’ was hosted by Houghton, Mai, and Garcelle Beauvais.
Tears and emotions overflowed, as the show’s hosts mused about the personal impact the series had on their lives as individuals and a collective.

The end of ‘The Real’ serves as a notable new chapter in the talk show landscape. For, in waving goodbye to ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show,’ ‘The Wendy Williams Show,’ ‘Maury,’ and ‘Nick Cannon,’ networks are readying new daytime titles such as ‘The Jennifer Hudson Show’ and Sherri Shepherd’s incoming show for the Fall.
