Jen Shah has been renowned for bringing the drama on-screen as a central part of the ‘Real Housewives of Salt Lake City.’
And that trajectory is continuing off of it too.
For, the embattled reality star has entered a guilty plea in her high-profile fraud case.
Full story below…
As reported, Shah was dramatically arrested during the filming of the hit Bravo show and eventually indicted on multiple charges of fraud relating to alleged data schemes that preyed upon the elderly.
After maintaining her innocence, it’s being reported that the mother of two entered a guilty plea.
In pleading guilty to count one, conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing, prosecutors dropped count two, conspiracy to commit money laundering.
During the hearing today (July 11), the judge ensured the 48-year-old was aware that she now faces a maximum prison term of 30 years and five years of supervised release.
The trial was due to commence next week and Shah was looking at a possible 50-year spell in prison.
Now, she’ll be sentenced on November 28.
One has to wonder if and how this would factor into season 3 of RHOSLC – given how much the topic dominated season 2. Whichever way it’s diced or sliced, this is what ratings are made of.
In any case, what are…
