It’s official. Angela Yee is leaving The Breakfast Club.

The revered radio personality sent fans of the Power 105.1 show into a tailspin after tweeting overnight that “The Breakfast Club as you know it is officially over.”
Moments ago on the latest installment of the long-running morning show, Yee formally announced that she leaving to start her own radio series, ‘Way Up With Angela Yee’ – which will also reside under the iHeartMedia umbrella. She will continue on with her podcast, ‘Lip Service,’ too.
Interestingly, despite the sudden and abrupt flavor of the tweet, Yee will remain on-air at The Breakfast Club as the finer details of her series are established.
Her co-hosts intimated that this could see her remain in position until towards the end of this year.

Yee, along with DJ Envy and Charlamagne launched The Breakfast Club in 2010 and was inducted into the Radio Hall of Fame alongside her co-hosts in 2020.
Well they had a good run. Hopefully they find a new girl and hopefully she’s from New York like Erica Mena, sky from black ink, or someone with radio experience.

Angela Yee doesn’t ask many interesting questions. Also, all 3 of them always seemed to talk over who they were interviewing just when, in my opinion, they were saying something really interesting that I wanted to hear the rest of. Really frustrating.
Angela Yee is dry AF! I’m surprised she got her own radio show. I know her little freak nasty podcast is kinda popular…. I guess… whoever her replacement is needs to bring it because she didn’t.
