Angela Bassett and Jennifer Hudson may already share being known as award-winning entertainers who have earned the respect of their peers and millions of fans around the world, but Tuesday (October 25) it was announced the divas have another commonality: ‘Glamour‘ magazine’s Women of the Year honors.

Honored alongside fashion designer Aurora James, America Rock band HAIM and others, Bassett and Hudson were revealed as the cover girls of the mag’s 2022 Women of the Year edition.

Crowning Bassett the ‘Queen of the Universe,’ the 64-year-old – hot on the promo trail in support of the November 11 premiere of her forthcoming film ‘Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever’ – turned heads inside the latest pages of ‘Glamour’ while rocking Balenciaga, Saint Laurent, Marc Jacobs, and many other designer duds.
