Mark those calendars, because ‘The Best Man’ franchise is back this December for a conclusion like no other.
Streamer Peacock will serve as the home for the aptly titled limited series ‘The Best Man: Final Chapters.’
The 8-episode swansong reunites original cast members Morris Chestnut, Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long, and Harold Perrineau.
Malcolm D. Lee, who helmed the first two films, is back on board to write and executive produce alongside Dayna Lynne North (who exec-produced HBO’s ‘Insecure’).
With a confirmed premiere date of December 22, the first-look trailer has been unleashed.
The clip was unveiled at the Urbanworld Film Festival, where the original film premiered in 1999.

For some reason I just never could get into any BM movies..I tried to watch the first one soooo many times and could never completely get through it…it just could never grab my attention but I do wish luck to the cast and I hope those who do enjoy these movies enjoy this one..it’s just not for me I guess
I liked the first but not the 2nd. I love the cast though.
Love that they keep this franchise alive. The films are actually really good and great chemistry between the cast
