Will Smith is looking to close out the year on higher ground than he started it with the release of his brand new movie ‘Emancipation.’
The superstar made headlines with the Oscar slap seen around the world – an incident that took place on the very night he won the coveted Best Actor honor. A hurricane of chaos ensued.
With the drama in rearview, Apple TV+ is accelerating full speed with the release of the film. Inspired by a true story, the movie shares the story of an enslaved man who embarks on an arduous journey to reunite with his family.
