With a work rate as prolific as the fruits of his hustle, Perry already has projects lined up at Netflix.
‘Six Triple Eight,’ anchored by Kerry Washington, will unravel the extraordinary and inspiring true story of the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color stationed overseas during World War II.
Elsewhere. ‘Mea Culpa,’ starring Kelly Rowland, will chronicle the gripping journey of a criminal defense attorney grappling with the mysterious case of an artist accused of a shocking crime.
The partnership builds on Perry’s previous successful collaborations with Netflix, which include ‘A Jazzman’s Blues,’ ‘A Fall from Grace,’ and the revival of his most renowned character, Madea, in ‘A Madea Homecoming.’
