With ‘The Color Purple’ off to a blazing start at the US box office, Ciara has joined her castmates in celebrating the film everyone is talking about.
As reported, the singer – who gave birth to her fourth child earlier this month – plays adult Nettie in the Blitz Bazawule-directed film.
Reimagined as a musical, the latest incarnation of Alice Walker‘s beloved tale also sees CiCi appear on its star-studded soundtrack.
In a touching post, the ‘Level Up’ performer reflects on what the moment means to her and her trajectory at large.
