Regina King is back on screens and this time it’s in the hotly anticipated ‘Shirley.’
Set to premiere on Netflix on March 22, the film spotlights the story of political trailblazer Shirley Chisholm – the first black Congresswoman.
Directed by John Ridley, the film follows Chisholm’s bold run for the position of the president of the US in 1972.
Oscar-winner King appears alongside a cast that includes Terrance Howard, André Holland, Lance Reddick, Lucas Hedges, Brian Stokes Mitchell, and Christina Jackson.
